Rules on background color application

For the logo on the background in the main color or black & white,
100~80% white and 20~0% exclusive colors are used.

Clear Space

Securing a margin around the logo prevents the logo from looking cluttered or chaotic by being overly adjacent to elements such as headlines, main text, and images. Always use minimal margins to maintain the logo’s original form and maximize visibility and visual impact.

When applying Wordmark, it is necessary to secure sufficient space according to the space regulations. Based on Doosan’s “D” height, there must be a minimum space of “D” height on all sides.

Margin B can be applied if it is difficult to assure readability due to space constraints in outdoor media, such as outdoor advertising and stadium fences, where readability is important.

The Open

The Open is a time-honored and prestigious golf championship that was launched in 1860, making it the oldest tournament in the history of golf championships. It will celebrate its 151th anniversary this year and is one of the world’s four major men’s golf championships. Since 2010, Doosan has officially sponsored The Open to promote the Doosan brand. We feature The Open-themed advertisements at the championships to promote Doosan’s products and technologies, and present our slogan ‘Building your tomorrow today!’ to promote the Doosan brand identity and project a reliable corporate image.

Doosan Match Play

Doosan has held the Doosan Match Play (KLPGA) since 2008 to heighten its brand value and help promote sports in Korea.

The Doosan Match Play is a regular tour tournament presented by Doosan at the Ladena Golf Club in Chuncheon, South Korea, and is the only match play event on the Korea Ladies’ Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) calendar.

During the tournament, the Ladena Golf Club attracts thousands of golf fans who come to watch the nation’s top professional golfers play. Many of them also bring their children and family members to enjoy the terrific views of the golf course landscaped with green grass, blooming flowers, ponds and more. The quick and easy scoring system makes match play especially popular among many golf fans as well as general galleries. The Doosan Match Play will organize a variety of types of domestic golf tournaments in the future and continue to provide new and various attractions for golf fans.

Ladena Golf Club

The Ladena Golf Club, newly renovated prior to the Doosan Match Play, redesigned the existing gentle slopes of its fairway largely to make the course more rigorous, requiring players to develop strategic game plans.
With a series of challenging mounds and 82 bunkers of all types, which create a great harmony with ponds and waterfalls, the Ladena Golf Club elevates the level of the Doosan Match Play and marks the beginning of another tradition.

In consideration of the impact of sunlight and wind, most of the courses face the southeast and all the courses are equally arranged in clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The design allows for a distant view with a unique feel. Accordingly, the beautiful course of the Ladena Golf Club inspires and draws interest among players and galleries.
